Oil Futures Jump to 3-Week High Amid Bullish U.S. Economic Data

(Bloomberg) —

Oil futures in New York rose to the highest levels since Aug. 13 after news that U.S. and China plan to hold talks to resolve growing trade dispute next month and as a raft of economic data bolstered confidence in the American economy.

 WTI rose 83c to $57.09/bbl at 10:33am ET after jumping nearly 2%

Brent increased $1.06 to $61.76/bbl, the highest level in nearly a month
